But that’s what will happen in The Force Awakens — in which Gwendoline Christie, who made Brienne famous and was made famous by her, plays the cape-wearing, chrome-plated Stormtrooper known as Captain Phasma. How do fans know this? Because a big reveal that Vanity Fair magazine was apparently planning for Tuesday leaked out on Monday. The magazine revealed its Star Wars cover, with exclusive Annie Liebowitz photos, on Sunday and the photographer’s pic of Christie in full Phasma regalia started leaking across the Internet around midday Monday.
