Jon Watts, the director set to helm Marvel and Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man reboot, believes the recently cast Tom Holland will be “perfect” for the role of the web-slinging hero.
Holland will appear as Spidey before the standalone film in Captain America: Civil War. The film requires a collaborative process within the Marvel film universe that Watts only has good things to say about.
He said, “It’s a big universe, so everyone works with each other to make sure that there’s continuity and that it all fits together.”
