When you think of inspirational superheroes, Ant-Man might not be at the top of your list.
That might change following Friday’s announcement of the Ant-Man Micro-Tech Challenge, a contest hoping to inspire more girls to take up science at school.
The Challenge is a partnership between Marvel, Disney, Visa, Dolby Laboratories and Raspberry Pi, and encourages girls aged 14-18 to create “micro-technology based DIY projects built using readily accessible and found materials.”
The projects, according to Marvel’s description, can be “utilitarian, artistic or just plain fun.”
The winner of the grand prize will be flown to the Ant-Man premiere in Hollywood, California on June 29, 2015.
She’ll also get to attend an “Evolution of Technology” workshop and meet Disney Imagineers the following day, and receive a tour of Walt Disney Studios.
