The singer-songwriter put his soulful spin on Christina Aguilera and Redman’s 2002 anthem “Dirrty.” Sheeran, who is up for four BRIT Awards Wednesday, performed at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge Tuesday. He invited Aguilera to watch the performance via Twitter, writing, “Oi @xtina I covered you.” Sheeran also performed his own hits, including “Bloodstream” and “Give Me Love” and “Thinking Out Loud.”
