Eddie Redmayne’s meteoric rise is showing no signs of slowing down as he is awarded an OBE. Having beaten Benedict Cumberbatch to Oscar glory this year, the announcement that Cumberbatch has been given a CBE may go some way to make up for his disappointment at losing out. The stars were joined on the Queen’s Birthday Honours list by Martin Clunes, Lesley Manville, Mike Leigh, Nicky Campbell and Lenny Henry.
