Eliza Coupe is returning to work for ABC Studios and ABC Signature. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that The Happy Endings alum has signed a one-year production deal with the studio and its cable-focused arm. Under the deal, Coupe will develop projects for both studios. The pact reunites her with ABC Signature, the company behind Benched, the short-lived USA Network comedy in which Coupe starred. The actress made her executive producing debut in January on indie comedy It’s Us, in which she also starred. More recently, Coupe completed a five-episode arc on Jason Reitman’s Hulu comedy Casual.
