Ellen DeGeneres has now given everyone the backstory behind #TheDress, just as people suspected she would. Ellen invited the woman who posted the photo on Tumblr, the owner of the dress, and the two newlyweds whose wedding is tied to the origin of the famous dress photograph. Grace MacPhee from Scotland explained that her mother sent her three photos of three different dresses to help her choose what she would wear to Grace and Keir Johnston’s wedding.
