In a clip of Kristen Wiig’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, the 41-year-old former Saturday Night Live star is on the receiving end of a shocking prank.
Things start out innocently enough with DeGeneres asking Wiig about her upcoming all-female Ghostbusters movie. “I’m so excited!” Wiig gushes. “Kate [McKinnon], Leslie [Jones], Melissa [McCarthy]. We’re shooting this summer. We haven’t started yet. I’m so excited.”
“Do you believe in ghosts?” the 57-year-old host asks. “Yeah, sure. I do,” Wiig says hesitantly. “It doesn’t sound like you do,” DeGeneres continues before Wiig adds, “I mean, there’s different kinds I guess.”
That’s when a crewmember dressed as a ghost pops out of a side table and scares the living daylights out of Wiig, who jumps out of her chair and rolls on the floor while screaming, “Oh my god! Oh my god!”
