Emily Mortimer is in negotiations to star as the female lead in Spectral, Legendary’s supernatural action movie. James Badge Dale is starring in the project, which Nic Mathieu is directing. Described as a supernatural Black Hawk Down, Spectral centers on a Special Ops team that fights supernatural beings who have taken over a European city. Mortimer will be a CIA mission leader opposite Dale’s researcher. The script was written by George Nolfi and John Gatins. Ian Fried wrote the original treatment.
