Emma Stone won’t put up with nonsense — especially when it comes from “incredibly important person,”Andrew Garfield. During a recent fan screening for their new movie, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the actress had no problem calling out her beau’s slight sexist comment about sewing and needlepoint being “feminine” crafts. When a young fan asked the couple how Spider-Man got his famous costume, Garfield replied, “He took some sewing classes … It’s kind of a feminine thing to do, but he really kind of made a masculine costume.” And his girlfriend wasn’t really having it after that. Stone interjected before Garfield joked that she was taking his comment as “an insult, “It’s feminine how?” Garfield quickly got himself out of the situation by turning the near insult into a compliment.
