Esquire Network has greenlit a fourth season of the cooking competition Knife Fight, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Knife Fight is a head-to-head competition where two chefs compete by making two dishes in an hour using the secret ingredients given to them by judge Ilan Hall. Production on season four is set to start mid-July at Hall’s restaurant The Gorbals based in Brooklyn, New York.
The third-season finale, featuring Edi Frauneder and Miguel Aguilar, is set to air at 10 p.m. Tuesday. “Michelin-starred Austrian” Frauneder and “Peruvian powerhouse” Aguilar battle it out with mystery ingredients including whole alligator, fennel, duck, toadfish and cough drops, but only one will go home with the prized “Lamb Splitter” knife.
