Sounds like Lt. Jake Peralta might have a love dilemma on the new season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Variety reports that Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is joining the Fox comedy for a three-episode arc this upcoming season. She’ll play Sophia, a defense attorney and possible love interest for Andy Samberg’s immature-yet-effective cop. That could be a problem: If you remember, Peralta finally revealed his feelings for Det. Santiago (played by Melissa Fumero) in the Season 1 finale in March.
