A trailer for the latest film adaptation of Macbeth has landed, and it looks gloriously grim. Starring Michael Fassbender as the titular character and Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth, the movie is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s play about a bloodthirsty king and his scheming wife.
“The Scottish Play,” as it’s exclusively called by more superstitious folks, is one of Shakespeare’s darkest works.
