Two massive franchises apparently aren’t enough for some actors. Tyrese Gibson , known for roles in the Fast and Furious and Transformers films, has recently posted to
Instagram a slew of images of himself dressed as Green Lantern. The actor posted the first image on January 23rd, accompanied by the caption, “Rumor has it that.” More recent posts have included the caption, “I am fully committed to suiting up for this adventure.” Gibson appears to be gunning to play the DC Comics character in Warner Bros.’ planned Green Lantern films and slated for 2020. Ryan Reynolds played the character in the 2011 film version, which grossed $219 million and was widely considered by fans to be a disappointment.
