AMBI Group has inked an option deal to remake Federico Fellini’s classic La Dolce Vita movie, which starred Marcello Mastroianni as a restless paparazzo journalist in Rome. They will finance and produce the La Dolce Vita remake with Italian partner Daniele Di Lorenzo. Francesca Fellini, niece of the late Italian director, said her family had been approached many times in the past about remakes and re-imaginings of La Dolce Vita. Di Lorenzo will produce through his LDM Productions banner. AMBI will also oversee global distribution of the film through its international sales division, AMBI Distribution.
