The CW superhero universe is ready for its next chapter.
In Tuesday’s season finale of The Flash, played by Grant Gustin, decided to not to save his mother.
Eddie, played by Rick Cosnett sacrifices himself so that his villainous descendant the Reverse-Flash is never born.
Time travel, paradox, crazy stuff that is expected in the DC Universe adaptation.
However, amidst the action and intrigue of the finale, the show also played host to a number of Easter Eggs indicating where the series is heading for season two.
The two most interesting for Flash fans are the allusion to both Killer Frost and Jay Garrick; introducing another villain to the show along with the comic’s original speedster himself.
