Nate Ruess is trying to counterbalance the depression-fueled lyrics in his latest solo single “AhHa” with a colorfully kooky video, which he’s exclusively premiering on Mashable. In the video, he flies like a lazy Superman, falls from the sky and sinks into the ocean like a rusty anchor before his journey ends on a high note with a jovial dance break. Ruess said, “I just wanted to do something that wasn’t so heavy, the song is such an emotional monster — it’s nice to have a juxtaposition.”
