Following complaints that the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII was mostly just a bunch of white guys, Disney and LucasFilm have announced two new additions to the film. Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, who won Best Supporting Actress for her role in 12 Years a Slave and Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth in HBO’s hit fantasy drama Game of Thrones. The casting of Christie is an interesting one because Game of Thrones is her only major role to date.
