There’s been rumors and speculation about Game of Thrones coming to a big screen, perhaps as the series climax. HBO has said that they feel that move may be a betrayal of HBO subscribers who have been loyal to the series. Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington says he thinks it’s a possibility, and that the IMAX screening of last season’s final two episodes showed that the series translates well Harrington told IGN, “I think it’s possible. “I think it lends itself very well to the big screen, Thrones. They put it out on IMAX and apparently it worked surprisingly well. Whenever I’ve seen premieres it’s been on a big cinema screen and it’s felt like it belonged there.
