While Beck personally shrugged off any notion of what Kanye West did at the Grammys as disrespectful, Garbage ‘s Shirley Manson isn’t letting the situation go away that easily. In an open letter posted on Manson’s Facebook page , she calls out Kanye for being “petty” and disrespecting true artistry like that of Beck’s. “You make a mockery of all musicians and music from every genre, including your own,” she continues before concluding that Beyoncé doesn’t need ‘Ye to fight any of her battles and that she’s doing pretty well on her own.
