Stephen Merchant is stepping up his game for the latest Lip Sync Battle.
The promo clip for the 40-year-old English actor’s forthcoming lip sync competition against actress Malin Akerman was released today and it may be our favorite Lip Sync Battle video yet, as it features Merchant getting down and dirty to Christina Aguilera’s 2002 hit tune “Dirrty.”
“Get nasty, @StephenMerchant!” the official Lip Sync Battle Twitter account posted on Monday morning. While the clip is a mere 43 seconds, it’s a perfect tribute to Xtina’s former raunchy image and features Merchant lip-syncing in a stripper cage while awkwardly writhing around alongside a group of sexy female backup dancers.
