Giuliana Rancic is making a change in her duties at the E! E! channel.
E! said Rancic will step away from her daily news anchor position on Aug. 10, but will continue to host red carpet coverage and “Fashion Police.” The 40-year-old was criticized earlier this year for comments she made on “Fashion Police” about biracial teen actress Zendaya’s dreadlocks. Rancic joked the hairstyle suggested the smell of patchouli oil or marijuana.
Zendaya took to social media to say Rancic’s remarks were offensive. Rancic apologized saying the experience taught her not to perpetuate cliches and stereotypes.
