Gotham’s Cameron Monaghan has posted a photo of himself on Instagram looking very much like the Clown Prince of Crime. Monaghan’s mysterious villain Jerome set Gotham fans into a frenzy last season, with many speculating he was The Joker when he made his debut on the Fox Batman prequel in February. Showrunner Bruno Heller told The Hollywood Reporter that season two of Gotham would focus heavily on The Joker. We’re going to find out how the hell Jerome, the proto-Joker we met earlier in this season, connects with the Joker as people known him. That’s the big focus of the beginning of the second season. We’re going to tell the story of how the Joker came to be,” Heller said in May.
