Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s Comic-Con trailer unveiled a warrior Wonder Woman, in the shape of Gal Gadot, but comic book writer Grant Morrison — whose upcoming graphic novel Wonder Woman: Earth One will remake the character for a modern audience — thinks that take goes against the roots of the character. Morrison told Nerdist about working on the graphic novel, “I sat down and I thought, ‘I don’t want to do this warrior woman thing. I can understand why they’re doing it, I get all that, but that’s not what [Wonder Woman creator] William Marston wanted, that’s not what he wanted at all!”
