Hasbro announced during a panel at Comic-Con International San Diego that Machinima will host a Transformers animated series.
The series promises to introduce new lore and characters, adding to the vast animated universe for the intellectual property.
The events of the series will reportedly take place during the Combiner Wars.
Chief Creative Officer of Machinima Daniel Tibbets said, “our audiences are huge fans of the comics, movies, toys and videos.”
Tibbets added, “for us to continue the legend with the Combiner Wars is a unique storytelling opportunity.”
