The last Transformers film, Age of Extinction , pulled in the most money out of any 2014 film, so there was no shot of Paramount and Hasbro stopping the money train from chugging along. During Hasbro’s Q1 earnings conference call, CEO Brian Goldner said the company is targeting 2017 for the release of Transformers 5 and he also confirmed plans for a Transformers cinematic universe.
