It sounds like The Simpsons Season 27 is getting ready to throw the show’s established status quo out the window. Now it seems the that Homer and Marge’s marriage is heading for a rough patch.
Executive Producer Al Jean broke the news during a conversation with Variety:
In the premiere, it’s discovered after all the years Homer has narcolepsy and it’s an incredible strain on the marriage. The Simpsons is an animated sitcom, so there’s a fair chance that the separation won’t last longer than the premiere episode. Still, it seems nothing is sacred in Springfield anymore.
The Simpsons Season 27 is about to begin production.
