Just one month after calling it splits with her partner, Sugar Bear Thompson, it looks like Mama June has found herself a new man.
But there’s a big problem with the mother of four’s alleged new relationship, according to the network that brought the famous reality show to light. It turns out that the rumored boyfriend, Mark McDaniel, was convicted of aggravated child molestation in 2004.
According to TMZ, who first broke the story, Mama June was dating McDaniel (and not Sugar Bear!) at the time the incident took place.
To make matters worse, the site is reporting that the victim was actually a relative of Mama June’s, and someone whom she is still in contact with. McDaniel has served 10 years in a Georgia state prison and was released in March of this year. He is currently a registered sex offender in Georgia.
