Shooting has begun on the The Day Will Come, the new Danish drama featuring a who’s who of Scandinavian talent, including Lars Mikkelsen, who plays the Russian president in season three of Netflix’s House of Cards. Soren Sveistrup, head writer on Danish crime series The Killing, which co-starred Mikkelsen, developed and wrote The Day Will Come. Jesper W. Nielsen, a director on Danish series Borgen and such features as Okay and Through A Glass Darkly, is directing the film.
