Before Caitlyn Jenner came forward about her transition, the Internet often speculated what was going on with her ever-changing appearance and long hair. The comments would often be vicious, but there was one person with whom she could find solace: Monica Lewinsky. Both Jenner and Lewinsky have something in common: They were both cyber bullied, although that wasn’t a term during Lewinsky’s public shaming after her sex scandal with President Bill Clinton. While speaking to contributing editor Buzz Bissinger of Vanity Fair, Jenner reveals that Lewinsky’s Ted talk on public humiliation and cyber bullying resonated. Meanwhile, Lewinsky has since tweeted her support, writing on Twitter, “insisting on a different ending to her story is EXACTLY what @Caitlyn_Jenner is doing. she is helping so many. BRAVA! @VanityFair.”
