Hulu has granted The Mindy Project a second chance at life.
The streaming network confirmed on Friday that the Mindy Kaling comedy, which was canceled last week by Fox after three seasons, will return for a 26-episode Season 4.
Craig Erwich, Hulu’s senior vice president and head of content, said in a statement. “Mindy has been a beloved member of the Hulu family, so this deal is a natural extension of our relationship,”That came as no surprise, considering the show frequently saw sizable gains in L+7 ratings, which account for seven days of delayed viewing, and had a robust multi-platform audience that could as much as double its overall viewership.
