Viewer interest in Caitlyn Jenner’s transformation remains high, with Sunday’s premiere of “I Am Cait” on E! drawing the network’s largest audience for a premiere in four years — though it wasn’t as big as a “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” special on Jenner in May. According to Nielsen “live plus same-day” national estimates, “I Am Cait” averaged a 1.3 rating in adults 18-49 and 2.73 million viewers overall for its 8 p.m. debut. This was the third largest audience of 2015 for E!, behind its “Live From the Red Carpet” coverage from the Oscars in February and the first of a two-part special “All About Bruce” episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” episode on May 17.
