Ice Cube can make anything sound threatening. Need proof? Look no further than Thursday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where the rapper and actor recited nice things in a heated way. His first task was to say, “Lavender body wash makes my pores tingle.” At times, he struggled to read his lines—which only made him seem angrier. Though it’s not in Ice Cube’s nature to typically say a phrase like, “I want a love like the love in The Notebook, a love that splits the sky,” the movie star delivered it an angry, memorable and hilarious way. Ice Cube stars in 22 Jump Street which hits theaters June 27.
