Idris Elba is officially the fastest actor in Hollywood.
The British actor teamed up with Bentley on May 7 to break the British land speed record known as the “Flying Mile.” The record was last set by Sir Malcolm Campbell in 1927.
According to a press release from Bentley, the record set by Campbell was 174.8 mph in his Napier-Campbell Blue Bird. Elba exceeded that with his top speed of 180.361 mph while driving a Bentley Continental GT Speed.
