Rachel Bilson’s real-life baby joy is going to make for some serious on-screen drama for her Hart of Dixie character, Zoe. In the final minutes of Monday’s Season 4 premiere, the show revealed that Dr. Hart was expecting a bundle of joy with love interest Wade played by Wilson Bethel, a twist that executive producer Leila Gerstein says will propel the character in a plot-rich direction. The episodes that follow the premiere will see news spread around Bluebell fairly steadily — some people find out early, some find out much later, says Gerstein — but that everyone’s reactions will be surprising.
