The Irish Times says plans for a major international film studio in Ireland have moved forward after public bodies bought a 350,000-square-foot facility in Limerick for about six and a half Million dollars.
Limerick city and county council reportedly is in talks with the country’s largest film and television facility, Ardmore Studios, about the future of the former Dell building in Castletroy. The news comes after Hollywood producer Philip Lee was seen in Limerick scouting for a $120 Million dollar science-fiction movie titled “Inversion.”
