Game of Thrones and Outlander crossover in the works? Absolutely, if Sam gets his way. Turns out, the Scottish actor is very intrigued by the idea that Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin and Outlander author Diana Gabaldon are already meeting up on the regular. For his part, Sam seems to have no hard feelings about not getting ever getting a part on Game of Thrones. He said, “I love that show so much. It’s really good. They’ve got an amazing ensemble. I’ve met some of the actors and I’m such a fanboy. I absolutely love it.”
