David Faustino has gotten “Married… With Children” fans hopes up once again, teasing a spinoff of the sitcom. But is the project really in development? Faustino told E! News , “Sony has it and they’re excited about it.” However, a source within Sony denied that any such reunion is in development. Faustino went on to say that the original cast, including Christina Applegate, was game to return.
After “Married… With Children” ended in 1997, the cast stayed busy. Applegate now stars in the “Vacation” reboot, Ed O’Neill stars in “Modern Family” and Katey Sagal will appear in FX’s “The Bastard Executioner,” after starring as Gemma in the network’s “Sons of Anarchy.”
