Sunday night, J. Cole sent shockwaves through the hip-hop community when he announced that his new album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, will be released in under a month. As Cole said in the trailer with the announcement, he will not be releasing any singles from the project prior to the release, giving fans the opportunity to hear the complete project at one time when it drops. Well, most fans that is, because today Cole and Roc Nation announced the “2014 Forest Hills Drive” contest where fans can enter for a chance to come to Cole’s house, which he grew up in and just repurchased this year, and listen to the album in full before the release date.
