Jada Pinkett Smith got candid about her 18-year marriage to husband Will Smith during a visit to The Howard Stern Show Wednesday.
Telling host Howard Stern that Will was free to do whatever he wanted, Pinkett Smith said that she doesn’t keep tabs on her husband out of trust. “You gotta trust who you’re with. At the end of the day, I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher,” Pinkett Smith put it plainly. “I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man.”
Stern went on to elaborate that though the two have “psychological freedom” in knowing that they’re free to date whomever, neither of them choose to act on it.
“I trust that the man that Will is is a man of integrity,” Pinkett Smith shared. “He’s got all the freedom in the world, and as long as Will can look himself in the mirror and be okay, I’m good.”
