Last year, indie comic publisher Dynamite Entertainment announced that it had gained the rights to James Bond.
Ahead of this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego, a leader writer has now been revealed for the series.
Warren Ellis will head the writing effort for the comic adaptation.
He has previously worked for DC and Marvel.
The first six issues, titled VARGR, see a young Bond returning to London after a mission.
Upon arrival he is tasked to finish a mission that killed a fellow agent.
James Bond 007 will releases physically and digitally in November.
