James Franco and Mila Kunis play a couple in a rut in the trailer for their upcoming film The Color of Time. In the film, Franco portrays real-life writer C.K. Williams, who won the Pulitzer prize for poetry in 2000. The trailer shows the film jumping in chronology, as C.K. is seen both as an adult and while interacting as a child with his mother. Jessica Chastain, Zach Braff and Bruce Campbell also star. The film credits 11 different people as co-directors.
This is not Kunis and Franco’s first film together, as they co-starred in 2013’s Oz the Great and Powerful and in the Paul Haggis-directed indie Third Person.
