Sure, some people have friends and family, but James Franco has McDonald’s. Less than 24 hours after the fast food chain unveiled their new Hamburglar, the actor put pen to paper to wax poetic about his longtime love of golden arches. In his piece, Franco wrote, “McDonald’s sales have slumped. Maybe the public wants healthier food. Maybe there’s too much competition. Maybe people aren’t into the chipotle barbecue snack wrap…All I know is that when I needed McDonald’s, McDonald’s was there for me. When no one else was.” Franco also wrote that he began working at the burger chain while beginning his career in Los Angeles and admitted that he would put on fake accents with customers to practice for his acting class.
