Disney won back the top position on Japan’s box-office charts with Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland after Sion Sono’s Shinjuku Swan interrupted it last weekend by ending Cinderella’s five-weekend run at number one.
George Clooney-starrer Tomorrowland took $2.15 million (￥264 million) on Saturday and Sunday to keep local thriller Yokoku-han off the top of the ranking in its debut.
