That’s what Jim Carrey is reportedly set to do this fall. Several sources have told The Wrap that the 52-year-old funny man will serve as host on an upcoming episode of SNL . While no date has been confirmed, it looks like the episode will be some time in November as Dumb and Dumber To has a Nov. 14 release date. SNL will kick off its 40th season on Sept. 27 with host Chris Pratt and musical guest Ariana Grande . The new season will also see the return of SNL alum Darrell Hammond , who succeeds the late Don Pardo as announcer .
