Talk show host Jimmy Fallon almost had a finger amputated after suffering a horrifying injury to his hand last month. “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” host opened up about the injury when he made his return to the program on Monday after he was forced to take two weeks off to recover. Fallon explained that his finger was badly damaged when his ring became caught on a countertop as he suffered a fall at his home, and he was rushed to the Emergency Room at New York’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. After he was assessed he was held in an Intensive Care Unit at the nearby Bellevue Hospital.
