Joan Rivers, who died Sept. 4 after complications from throat surgery, was just nominated for a Grammy for her hilariously candid memoir Diary of a Mad Diva. Fashion Police co-host Giuliana Rancic revealed the category’s nominees on Twitter on Friday as part of the Recording Academy’s new Twitter-centric announcement process. The memoir is up against projects from actor James Franco, senator Elizabeth Warren, singer Gloria Gaynor, former president Jimmy Carter and film director John Waters.
