Joan Rivers worked tirelessly to be able to live the life that she wanted, on her own terms.So of course the comedic icon and host of E!’s Fashion Police was draped in diamonds and fur, as befitting the entertainment royalty that she was, for what W magazine says was the star’s final photo shoot. Rivers is remembered in W’s October 2014 “Royals Issue” as—what else?—the “Queen of Comedy” and the magazine has shared a portrait of Joan, who passed away on Sept. 4, from that last portfolio.
