There was nobody like Joan Rivers and there won’t be again. Simple as that. The pioneering entertainer, who helped change the landscape for female comedians and proved every day that you’re never too old to keep doing what you love, died today at 81 after being taken off life support. She had been hospitalized since she stopped breathing during an endoscopic procedure on Aug. 28.
