John Stamos took to Twitter on Saturday, less than a day after being arrested on suspicion of DUI, to thank his supporters, police and medical workers who treated him at a hospital after the incident.
Police pulled over the 51-year-old Full House star in Beverly Hills on Friday evening after receiving several calls about a possible drunk driver.
They then transported Stamos, who was driving alone, to the nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for observation “due to a possible medical condition.”
There, he was arrested and issued a citation for DUI and was released to the care of the hospital.
Stamos is scheduled to answer to the DUI charge at a hearing in Los Angeles on Sept. 11.
